I'll put it out there that I'm not a big fan of disco, at least not the hit stuff. But, there's a slew of killer funky soul grooves that ride a fine line at the disco crossover point without crossing over, dig? That's the category I'm putting "Feel It" into... so it can rub elbows with records like "Rockin' Chair" from Gwen McCrae and "Express" from B.T. Express. The distinguishing difference Black Ivory brings to the dance rhythms are the sweet slow-jam breathy vocals that could bring value in the bedroom as well as the dancefloor. No matter where you define its spot in the funk & soul idioms, it's a keeper. They're also readily available on the cheap. Get your copy before the world finds out about it.... again! Enjoy. :)
